Lumé Hair began with a simple frustration: good remy hair existed, but it was overpriced, oversold and rarely what it claimed to be. We set out to fix all three.
The promise
Virgin hair should mean

"Virgin" gets thrown around a lot in this industry. For us it means unprocessed, undyed, cuticle-aligned remy hair from a donor we know. It means hair that hasn't been stripped and coated to hide its quality. And it means we can put our name on every single piece.
That's why every Lumé piece is inspected by hand before shipping, and why our 12-month guarantee isn't a marketing line — it's how we hold ourselves to the promise.

No inflated 'luxury tax'. We price by what the hair costs and how it's finished, not by how loud the marketing is.

With care, our pieces last 12–18 months. We publish care guides, offer free repairs on toppers, and stand behind every piece for a year.
The journey
From two workbenches to the world
2019
Lumé starts as a two-person atelier in a family workshop, hand-tying toppers for friends and neighbors.
2021
Our silk-base topper gains a waitlist of 400+ women. We formalize the sourcing chain and cut out three layers of middlemen.
2023
HD lace wigs launch — sold out in 11 days. We open a second workbench and hire our first full-time finishers.
2025
12,000+ pieces shipped to 40+ countries. Every order still hand-checked before it leaves the atelier.
